What We Do.
We are on a mission
The Afghanistan Health and Development Initiative (AHDI) is committed to improving the quality of life of vulnerable and underserved communities across Afghanistan by delivering inclusive, equitable, and sustainable programs in health, education, social development, agriculture, and food security.
Through community participation, strategic partnerships, and evidence-based interventions, we empower individuals and strengthen resilient communities capable of achieving long-term social and economic well-being.
Our Approach to Making a Difference
AHDI adopts a community-centered, rights-based, and sustainable development approach. We work closely with communities, government institutions, humanitarian actors, and development partners to design and implement programs that respond to local needs, strengthen local capacity, promote resilience, and ensure long-term impact. Across all our interventions, we are committed to transparency, accountability, gender equality, inclusion, and evidence-based programming.
Vision for a Better Tomorrow
Where in Afghanistan that every person has equitable access to quality healthcare, education, sustainable livelihoods, and social protection, enabling communities to live healthy, productive, and dignified lives in a peaceful and resilient society.
